Sensory Space AAC Support Pack.
For learners exploring sensory activities, interaction, control and early engagement. Sensory Space often starts with small but meaningful responses. A learner might look towards the screen, press a switch, wait for an effect, react to a sound or show that they want something to happen again. This pack helps you recognise those responses and turn them into communication opportunities. Learners can choose what to explore, ask for more, stop, request help, share preferences and take a more active role during sensory experiences. Use this pack when you want to support communication around noticing, reacting, repeating, controlling and exploring.
Games & Activities AAC Support Pack.
For learners building cause and effect, attention, timing, targeting and choice-making skills. Games & Activities sessions are full of opportunities for learners to make something happen, notice a response and try again. This pack helps you add communication into those moments. Learners can choose an activity, ask for more, stop, request help, comment on what they see or hear, and show whether they like or do not like an activity. Use this pack when you want to support communication during accessible activities that involve pressing, waiting, watching, listening, choosing and responding.
Inclusive Stories AAC Support Pack.
For learners taking part in shared story sessions. Inclusive Stories gives learners natural moments to listen, look, anticipate, respond and join in. This pack helps you build communication into the story experience. Learners can choose what to read, respond to characters, ask to hear a favourite part again, comment on sounds or images, stop, request help and share what they liked. Use this pack when you want to support communication before, during and after a story, from choosing the story to responding to what happens next.

Each AAC Support Pack includes printable resources to help learners choose, request, comment, stop, ask for help and share preferences during HelpKidzLearn sessions. You’ll find choice boards, communication boards, eye-pointing boards and selected ChooseIt Maker examples, with each pack tailored to the product it supports. The Games & Activities pack also includes extra device-specific printables for communication aids such as BIGmack, Smooth Talker, GoTalk 9+, Quick Talker 7, Jelly Bean Twist, Jelly Beamer Twist and Talking Photo Albums.
How learners can use the resources.
The resources give learners clear ways to choose, respond and share preferences. Learners can point, look, use eye gaze, select with support, use partner-assisted scanning or respond through their existing communication method. Adults can model the words, wait for a response and confirm what the learner has communicated before continuing the activity or story. The printable resources are designed to be used alongside HelpKidzLearn. They can also be used alongside a learner’s existing AAC system where appropriate, but they are not intended to replace a high-tech AAC device.
