What’s New? November 2025 Update
We know this time of year is busy, with reports, events and end of term planning all happening at once. So instead of making you hunt for updates, we have brought everything together in one simple round up of what has been happening at HelpKidzLearn. Grab a cuppa, take a quick break and catch up on the latest news.
We have been shortlisted for two awards
We are very proud to share that HelpKidzLearn has been shortlisted for not one but two awards that focus on special educational needs. First, we are finalists for SEND Resources Supplier of the Year at the Education Today School and Supplier Awards. This means a lot to us because it was based on your votes. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to support us. We have also recently found out that we are shortlisted in the Bett Awards for SEND and Inclusion Resources and Services. Bett celebrates creativity and innovation in education technology, so it is a real honour to be included. Winners for the Education Today Awards will be announced on 5 December. Bett Award winners will be announced on 21 January. Please keep your fingers crossed for us.
New Sensory Space activities
We have added four new activities to Sensory Space to give you even more ways to support early interaction. In Engage you will find Fireworks and Mosaic. Fireworks fills the screen with colourful bursts that bloom and fade. Mosaic gently shifts neon patterns like a moving kaleidoscope. Both are ideal for press and let go access and building attention. In Interact you will find Bubbles and Powder Pop. Bubbles float across the screen and pop with a light splat sound each time learners activate their device. Powder Pop shows sacks bursting into clouds of colour that slowly drift away. These activities focus on press it again responses and help encourage curiosity and purposeful interaction.
New Autumn Activity Pack
We have created a brand new Autumn Activity Pack filled with seasonal lesson ideas and playful activities for your learners. Whether you say Autumn or Fall, this pack is made to save you planning time and give your learners meaningful, hands on ways to explore the season. Inside you will find: • Sensory Space adventures with swirling leaves, flowing colours and twinkling stars • Games and Activities such as Apple Picking and Windy Day, plus printables to build your own Scarecrow Sid or match autumn leaves • Inclusive Stories featuring Webster Witch and Hagmella, with puppets, masks and props to help you bring the characters to life • ChooseIt Maker and ChooseIt Readymades autumn themed lessons, including share codes, communication boards, checklists and daily routine strips so you can extend learning away from the screen • Ready made playlists for those times when you want a complete session with everything in one place
Sensory Space music is now ready to stream
The calming music from Sensory Space is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. These gentle soundscapes can support comfort, focus and regulation in many settings. You can use them in lessons, therapy sessions, small group work or quiet time at home. Most tracks are calm and soothing, while a few more uplifting pieces add variety. The familiar sounds can help learners feel safe, settled and ready to engage, whether they are listening with you in school or at home with families.
ChooseIt Readymades has a fresh new look.
ChooseIt Readymades has now been updated with the same simple layout you will recognise from Games and Activities, Inclusive Stories and Sensory Space. You can now: • Browse categories and activities in one clear view • Use the filters bar or the built in search to find what you need in seconds • Select an activity and see a handy panel slide in with a breadcrumb, description, related activities and the Play button This means you can preview several activities, compare options and choose the right one for your learners without leaving the page. It is a small change that we hope makes everyday use much easier.
Coming soon: Christmas Activity Pack
We are putting the finishing touches to our new Christmas Activity Pack, which will be available very soon. It is full of festive ideas to help you celebrate together, including activities to decorate trees, count crackers and enjoy the build up to the New Year. There will be options to use across Sensory Space, Games and Activities, Inclusive Stories and ChooseIt Maker. Keep an eye on your inbox and our news page so you do not miss the release.
