A new academic year brings new opportunities - and we’ve been busy building features and resources to support you and your learners. Here’s a recap of what’s new, plus a preview of what’s on the way.
US Money added to ChooseIt Readymades
We’ve added a dedicated US Money category to the Numeracy series, featuring 26 interactive activities and 501 pages of multiple-choice questions designed around US currency, coin recognition, and money skills. Full-screen mode
All activities now open directly in full-screen mode, giving learners maximum space to focus while minimising browser distractions. You don't have to do anything, activities will automatically open full-screen when using a supported device or browser. When exiting the activity, the browser will return to normal too. We've created a dedicated support page to explain more.
ChooseIt Maker folder colours
You can now choose a folder colour when creating or editing folders in ChooseIt Maker. Either select the colour when creating a new folder, or right click on an existing folder and select colour. Using colours will help to support better organisation of activities and visual accessibility. If you've not yet started using ChooseIt Maker, why not give it a try today.
Free Back to School packs
Starting a new school year can be exciting but also overwhelming for many learners with special educational needs. To help ease the transition, we’ve created three free Back to School Packs packed with ready-to-use resources. Each pack includes a mix of interactive activities, printable visuals, communication tools, routine strips and celebration resources such as sticker charts and certificates to help learners feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. Choose from three themed packs – Preparing for the First Day, Settling In and Building Routines, and Celebration and Support Tools – or download all three for a complete first-week toolkit.
