Smarty Pants

Explore different expressions, gestures and emotions with this fun program. Pick a character then choose an expression for him or her to act out. Choose from happy, sad, angry, laughing, afraid, tired or embarrassed. Also make the character express 'yuck', craziness, or blowing a raspberry. There are four characters to choose from (two male and two female). Use a mouse, or one or two switches.

Switch Use: Set your interface box so your switch acts like the space bar. Alternatively you can use two switches that act like the space bar and the Enter key. (See the parents section for more information about switch use.)

@ Jo Greenwell : Thankyou for your feedback. After testing it on a number of machines i do not seem to be able to reenact what you have described. If you could email to me with more details info@helpkidzlearn.com i would very much appreciate it.

YOU ARE RIGHT CHRIS@HELPKIDZLERAN!

john:

um i can know this game now its just to play i have to press the symbots in the boottom in the screen! thats how to play!

Uli:

I really love it!

Chris@HKL:

@ john : This activity is simply, "Choose an expression or action from the symbols". Select one of the symbols at the bottom of the screen to make your character perform that specific animation. This game can be very useful, for example: when trying to determine how your child feels about a specific event or classroom activity.

john:

i wonder how to play to play maybe i could pick a mouth smlie thats how to play?

anon:

I've been without Smart Alex for years and missed him terribly. Thank you for resurrecting him / her. Wonderful fun for all our children (and staff!)

Laura:

this is fantastic - a couple of my ASD kids are enjoying matching emotions as worksheets while we have fun 'doing the faces together' - I will report back how they get on with this online..

Mary:

The emotions at the bottom are random when you click the more button. It might be nice if you can simply cycle through the emotions.
