Pick and Play
Simply choose a musical instrument to see and hear it play. A delightful activity for one or two switches – explore the world of music making and sound. A choice of three instruments is presented each time and could include a saxophone, banjo, bagpipes, flute, violin, drums, or a feisty electric guitar. Rock on!

@ emily : On the first screen you see (when the program has loaded), choose one switch mode and select a scan speed (seconds). Then click the arrow to enter the game. Press the switch to make the scan box start to scan the instruments. When the box highlights the instrument you want, press the switch again to select. Then just repeat this process. If you have further issues be sure to read: "Connecting switches to your computer" on the "Parents" page (top).
emily:
We have only one switch to use, but how do you get the highlight over your choice? It's really great to have access to these games for my son with complex needs, thank you.

@ Jenny : Thank you for your feedback. The full program (Switch Skills - Scanning) from which "Pick and Play" is based, allows the learner to choose one picture at a time: http://www.helpkidzlearn.com/early/pick_play/categories.jpg
Plus Auditory Prompts can be changed from "verbal" to "click" or "off".
Jenny:
Our students love this! However they have problems to see small pictures and to focus; it would be great if one picture at a time could be larger when you click on it. It also would be a good thing if you could choose between speech or not, since we live in Sweden and my students can't understand English.
