Big Bang Colours

A beautifully simple activity for learners to enjoy watching the screen and interacting with the computer. It's like your own switch accessible bubble tube – watch the bubbles float up the screen. When the user presses either one or two switches (space bar and enter key) the colour will change, accompanied by optional sound effects. If you choose, Big Bang Colours can encourage the child to engage with the activity by turning the screen blank if there is no input for 30 seconds.

karen:

I agree with Nat, can this be used on a smartboard as well.

Nat:

can there please be an option of using a switch OR using the mouse/interactive screen. I have students who would love this activity but they do not use switches.
Thanks!

cruz:

this is really good for sensory. thank you

Chris@HKL:

For help connecting your switch correctly see "Connecting switches to your computer" on HKL's "parents" page: http://www.helpkidzlearn.com/parents.html

Jen:

I cannot get this activity to work with a switch, only the keyboard. Any advice?

Chris@HKL:

@ Erin : Apologises for the incorrect text on the instruction screen which stated "Click your mouse or press your switch..."
This has now been corrected to "Press your switch..." only.

Chris@HKL:

@ Erin : Big Bang Colours was designed specifically to work with either one or two switch access (space bar and enter key). For more information please read "Connecting switches to your computer" http://www.helpkidzlearn.com/parents.html

Erin :

During recent use, colors would not change when touched screen or used mouse to select. Using PC. Activity seems to not work now.

Clarissa:
